BestGirlfriends is a set of static files. There is no account, no login, no newsletter, no comment box and no shopping basket, so there is nothing here for you to hand over and nothing for us to store about you. This page describes the little that does happen.

What we do not do

• No analytics script, no tag manager, no pixel, no session recording.
• No advertising network and no behavioural profiling.
• No cookie set by us. Nothing is written to your browser's storage by this site.
• No account, so no name, email address or payment detail is ever requested.

What is logged

This site sits behind a content delivery network and a web server, and both keep ordinary request logs: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. That is how any website on the internet stays online and defends itself against abuse. Those logs are retained for a short operating window and are used for security and for counting traffic in aggregate, never to build a profile of an individual visitor.

The network may set a cookie of its own to distinguish humans from automated traffic. That is a security function of the network rather than a choice of ours, and it carries no marketing identifier.

Fonts and assets

Every font, stylesheet and image used by this site is served from this domain. Nothing is fetched from a third-party host while you read a page, so simply reading the directory sends your IP address to nobody except this site and its network provider.

What happens when you follow a link out

Outbound links to the sites in the directory pass through an affiliate network before arriving at their destination. That step records the click and attributes it to us, and it may set a cookie in your browser belonging to the destination or its network. From the moment you leave this page you are covered by the privacy policy of wherever you have landed, not by this one. Every destination in this directory is an adult site and several of them require age verification.

If you would rather not pass through that step, every site in the directory can be reached by typing its own address into your browser. Nothing on this site is gated behind our links.

Children

This site is for adults, 18 and over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone. It carries the RTA label, so parental control software can block it on sight.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you may ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and complain to your supervisory authority. In practice we hold no personal data about you beyond the short-lived server logs described above, and those are not indexed by identity, so a request will usually be answered by telling you exactly that. Write to [email protected] and you will get a reply.

Changes

If this policy changes, the review date at the top changes with it. We do not maintain a mailing list, so there is nowhere to notify you and no reason to pretend otherwise.
